Hello, I Changed Out The Timer Less Than A Year Ago And Now I'm Having Problems Again. My Wife Said The Dryer Was Working Fine And Just Stopped All Of A Sudden. When I Turn The Timer On And Push The Start Button The Timer Just Hums A Little Bit But Thats It. I've Checked The Voltages And Everything Seems Ok. How Do I Check The Timer To See If Its Ok. Help

To check the timer I would use a multimeter and the wiring diagram that is located on the tech sheet.

Did you check the door switch and thermal fuse? Both of them are far more common problems that will also cause the dryer not to start.

Hi.

Check the thermal fuse at the back next to the cycling

hemostat Part number: 3392519
Part number: 3392519

If it's open - replace it and clean the vents.
Thank you. Post the results.

Simon.

I must be blind as I could not find that thermal fuse listed on the diagram for their model dryer. Could you point out what number it is on the diagram? Thanks.

DOOR SWITCH & THERMAL FUSE CHECK OUT OK. WHAT VOLTAGES SHOULD BE ON THE TERMINALS ON THE TIMER WHEN IT SHOULD BE RUNNING?
