Model #
PLGS389ECI.
Issue is I can't replace the oven door. I was able to remove it, but I am having trouble reinstalling it. I have tried reversing the order. Making sure the tabs are up, sliding both hinge parts into their corresponding holes, lowering the door to 45 degrees and then trying to push the clips back into the slots to the loock the door in place. The trouble is with the last part. Any suggestions? I have looked at every video online and none of them seem to be the same as my hinge. Please help. thanks.

It says to fully open the door, see page 17.

Here's what is the challenge with the Oven Repalcement. I must have read the wrong instructions to take the door off. I missed the "lock the hinge" before removing part. Now I find it impossible to get teh spring loaded hinge parts to be in the correct alignment for replacement. Do you have any suggestions? Do I need to dissasemmble the door to reduce spring load??

Ok. When I removed the door, I did not correctly lock the "clips" over the main hinge arms. So when I try to reinstall the door, I need to re-hook hte clips on the main hinge arms. Here's the problem. I found a video thta suggested tio try a pipe and bend the hinge arm down to meet up with the clip - problem is this hinge wants to bend under that much pressure. Any thoughts on how to "reload" the hinges so I can replace the oven door?

Sorry but I do not have a better way than using a pipe.

Perhaps re-post using Post New Topic with this specific question.
With luck someone else will have an alternate method.

Use the pipe to move the hinge AWAY from the bottom of the oven door. Then bring the clip UP to meet the unlocked hinge and hold it in place. Hope this helps.
