Our Kenmore washer is chattering. It sounds like a relay or solenoid snapping off and on. It does it on agitating and spinning out. The washer continues to kind of work, , but it is like the motor is engaging and then snapping off, repeatedly.

Sometimes, turning the washer off and letting it sit for a while allows us to finish the load, but now even that doesn't seem to help.

I have replaced the timer and it didn't help.

Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks
