My Whirlpool machine works perfectly, however, I get a super high pitched squeel when it first starts to spin (for 5-10 seconds) then it is very quiet. Whats making that squeel? Whirlpool heavy duty 6 cycle top loading machine.

The high pitched squeel in our Whirlpool heavy duty direct drive washing machine was completely eliminated by applying oil to the pump motor. Thanks
