This is a wall-mounted microwave-over-oven unit. For whatever reason, whenever the microwave door is closed, it runs. If I open the door, it stops, but that the only way to stop it. I have pressed every button I can think of and even cycled the power to the unit...to no avail.

It still works, but I have to leave the door open all of the time.

Any ideas?

Check the door switches and if there is nothing wrong then the control board is the culprit. Unfortunately the control board is no longer available.
