After cleaning the cooktop and doing a 4hr self clean in the oven, my back left burner does not go high. When it ignites the flame stays at the low setting and when the dial is turned to the lowest the flame remains the same size. All other burners are np. It is a natural gas stove. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hi.

Try to disassemble the burner and using a pin or needle clean the orifice. If that doesn't help most likely you will need to replace the burner valve.

The burner gas valve Part number: AP3185172
Part number: AP3185172

Hi.

First try to clean the orifice. Take off the burner cap, than take off the burner head.
Through the opening in the center you should be able to get to the orifice.

Thank you. Post the results.

Hi.

The available manual is not sufficient enough. If you look in the bottom drawer compartment or at the back of the range or inside the control panel, you might be able to find it.

See if you will be able to adjust that burner.

Remove the valve knob and locate the adjustment screw on the valve body at 6 o'clock. Turn it slowly and see if that helps.

The adjustment must be made with no other burners on.

Thank you. Post the results.

Simon.

Hi.

Isn't that a relief?

Thank you.
