Hello all,

I have a Whirlpool electric range/oven that has seen very little use over the past 3 years that I have owned it. A couple of months ago the oven started beeping and would not stop, until i threw the breaker. The message on the keypad says F2. The stove top will work but the keypad, and therefore the oven, will not respond to any inputs. I would appreciate any info. and direction you guys could give me.

Thanks alot,

Andy

I could not find any info on this model number.
Tried AppliancePartsPros and 2 Whirlpool sites.
Please check it.

I can tell you that on many Whirlpools F2 is an oven sensor fault.
So it may be the problem.

Here is a good site with info on how to check it, see 7, 8, 20 and 21.

Denman,

Im sorry about the model number, I mistook the W for an X. The actual model number is:

WFE361LVD 0

I hope that the corrected serial number helps and I look forward to some guidance.

Thanks again,

Andy

Here are your parts
Replacement parts for Whirlpool WFE361LVD0 30" ELECTRIC CERAN FREESTANDING RANGE SELF CLEAN CONVE | AppliancePartsPros.com

See the attachment for the tech sheet.

Looks like F2 is a control board problem on his unit.
Since removing power from the unit did not reset it, odds are that the board is shot.
It looks like there are several revisions of this board so you will also need the unit's serial number.
