This dryer is a 1986 model from Wards. I replaced my belt and disconnected the wires from the timer motor thinking I had the tech sheet. I DON'T!!
I desperately need help to replace the individual color coded wires to the proper terminals on the timer. Can anyone help? I've put up a clothes line outside!!!
Thanks

I looked for a diagram and had no luck finding one.

Did you pull all the wires off?

How many are off?
Sometimes the timers are marked with what color or number wire goes were.

Could you post some photos of the time and what wires you have to work with?

This dryer was made by Frigidaire for Wards. Post the timer part number and I'll see if I can find a wiring diagram for a Frigidaire model that uses the same timer. By the way, how many wires did you disconnect? I'm assuming you have already checked everywhere inside the control panel and inner side of the front and side panels for a wiring diagram, right?

The timer model # is M406-4G
I pulled all the wires from the timer...the 2, 110 volt wires, blue wire, white wire, tan with jumper and orange/white wire. I also pulled the wires off of the start switch and temperature control switch. I am absolutely sure that I do not have any wiring diagram. I can't tell you how much I appreciate the help...this is my 95 year old moms dryer and it means a lot.
Thank You so much

deleriousone,

The number I need looks like Q622122 or 5308622122. Please check. If we don't find a diagram, it's going to be tough connecting the timer and everything back together.

I can't send the pictures...they seem to be too large, is there any other address I can send them to?
Thanks

This timer fits some of Frigidaire's DG650 series, like DG650EXW1 for example. The only thing I could find for it was an owner's manual. No wiring diagram.

Hopefully the pictures will help.

Check out this place. I never used it myself, but looks good and its free. It lets you resize your photos to make them smaller.
