I have a whirlpool sport duet that i would like to throw out the window but it wont fit. We just replaced the pump and now after hitting the power and then start button, it cuts itself off. Now what?

Well first of all you are not alone, about everyone who owns one wants to throw it out the window, even when the window is not big enough.

You should have found some tech notes when you took off the bottom service panel. They will show you how to put it into a diagnostic mode and generate some error codes. Focus on the main control unit and the door lock assembly and associated wiring.
