My washing machine runs fine, spins alright, etc. but it takes much longer than the time display should take. It gets down to 1 minute remaining, and literally just keeps turning and turning for nearly an hour before finally finishing the cycle.
Also (not sure if this is related or not) the dispenser hasn't worked well since this problem has started, and when I open it after each cycle there is still liquid in the bleach and fabric softener sections of the housing.

I've already checked and cleaned the drain filter, and I'm not sure what else to try. The clothes come out alright, it's just taking much longer to do laundry than it should. I do not have a warranty for this machine, I purchased it second-hand.

Any help would be appreciated, and thank you for taking the time to read and respond.

Hi,

Sounds like the control board maybe at fault.

Bekah, a couple of things you want to try, first. Remove the dispenser drawer and check the bottom portion of the housing for debris and detergent/softneretc. build up. Tutn off the faucets, disconnect both water supply hoses and check and clean the screens inside the valve and the hoses, and "flush the faucets for 30 to 60 seconds. That should solve the water in the dispenser cups. The next check will require you to unplug the power cord, remove the top panel(3 screws on the back, and slide the top back an inch or two) on the right hand side of the interior cabinet you should find the water level switch,
Part number: AP4340286
Part number: AP4340286

Disconnect the tube from the switch assembly and blow in the tube, to remove any debris or deposits that could cause the switch circuit to be irratic, and check the wiring connections for a good tight fit on the terminals.
Good Luck and Thanks,
:) :) :)

Did you have any luck fixing this issue? I'm having the same problem!
