I have removed what appears to be a cavity lamp cover, a white, plastic cover on the right inside wall of the microwave. I cannot even feel a bulb up in there. If I could there is no way I could put my fingers in the area to remove the bulb. Have I found the right place for the bulb and if so how in the world do you remove it? Thanks

The cover you removed is for the waveguide and needs to be put back in place. The cavity lamp is accessible by removing the outer wrapper from the microwave and it is located on the right side similar to the machine in my post Kitchenaid Microwave no Cavity Light.
