I received a new bake element and turned off the circuit breaker to install it. Element fit fine but when I turned the power back on the clock and temp. touchpad are dead.

Thanks Denman for the reply. Tripping the breaker had no results. You asked if the stove elements work- yes they all work. You also asked if the oven light works- yes, works as it should. I will borrow a meter and perform the test you suggested. If I don't get the proper voltage, do I need to purchase a new touch panel? or do you have any more suggestions? Thanks!

If I don't get the proper voltage, do I need to purchase a new touch panel? or do you have any more suggestions? No. If you do not get the proper voltage then probably have a wiring problem (loose connection etc.)
If you do get the proper voltage 120 volts going into the control board ( P2-7 to P2-1 and P2-7 to P4-1/2) then you probably need a new control. |
