Cannot find any info on your unit using the given model numbers.

You could try checking the door gaskets. Take a dollar bill and put it between the gasket and the frame, then pull it out, should have some resistance when pulling it out.

Note the hinge side gaskets. Sometimes they can grab onto the units frame and not seal correctly. A thin coat of vaseline or white grease along this side will fix this.

Could be that the drain is again plugged.
Crud can grow in the drain. You cleared a plug so it drains better, now a section of where the crud is dries, falls off the tube's wall and causes a plug. Always a good idea if you can is to flush the tube with a 10% bleach solution and flush it. A turkey baster often works well.

Some units have an Econo (or something like that) switch, it turns off/on a heater built into the frame between the freezer and fridge. This heater prevents condensation, You may want to look for this switch, usually at the top, front of the fresh food section.

freezer only or both frig & freezer?
I would do both but the fridge would be the most likely.
The freezer one would give you frost on it's walls.

Do you have any idea where I might get some diagrams of my unit?
I could not find anything, even tried the Kenmore site (Mange My Home).
If this is a Canadian unit it makes it even harder if not impossible.
Take a look under the unit etc. often there is an envelope with at least the tech sheet/wiring diagram inside.

Hopefully someone else will jump in with a source.

Sorry I have no info on this unit so cannot help much.

By the sound of it this unit drains directly out of the back of the freezer.
Some units drain into a funnel like device at the top back of the fresh food section and then down to the tray.

Could be that the hole you see is just an overflow and now that it is nice and clean the water should go down the drain and not into the fresh food
