Hi Todd, It is possible that the problem is a bad evaporator (freezer) fan motor. If it's bad then it will damage the main control board. I really recommend to order the new fan motor and replace it together with the new main control board. Otherwise the third control board will get damaged again. - The evaporator fan motor Part number: AP3875639

hopefully the fridge will hold on till it arrives.is the fan an easy install ?

gene got the part and just tore down the freezer and sure enough mine is the one with the thermistor,it figures.guess i will order the thermistor style fan now.:mad:

You can splice in the new motor wires into the old harness.
