I've read the threads and know this is a small inexpensive part, however I'm going to attempt to do this myself. Do I have to take the entire MV out from above the stove first? I know the part is under the microwave. Is this a hard repair for a beginner? The MV is in great shape and woorks super so I would really rather repair this then replace it. The diagram I've seen looks overwhelming. Are there any step by step instructions on how to do this? Thank you for your help. Lisa

Can you be more specific on the problem? Which part do you think is bad?

Gene.
