Need schmatic for GE washing machine motor part # 5kh41jt18as. Motor will not work. I have the motor out of the machine. I have current to motor by touching one of the test leads to one of the wire connectors and the other to the ground wire on machine. Don't know if that is correct or not. Bought used motor from ********. Doesn't work either. Could it be the timer switch not putting the juice to the right connectors on the motor? or could it be two bad motors? Thought sure it was the motor because I was getting current to the motor. Would like to know how to test motor. I have a a/c 120v tester but i'm afraid i would fry the motor for good not knowing which leads to connect to. Also have ohm meter. Thanks for any help!

Thanks!But I already tried that. The only schmatic they can send is the one that came w/ the washer. Is it possible that the timer is sending enough volts but not enough amps to the motor? I have a voltmeter but not an amp-meter. A friend is trying to find his. I can test the motor with an ac power tester if I knew which leads to connect to (there are 5 leads) to see if if runs,I don't want to guess at it for fear of frying the motor. like I said I have the motor out of the machine.The motor is a reversible one.
