When opperating the microwave, an arc is observed at the turntable motor. Is there a problem with the motor or is there a seal that may need replacement?

Thanks John

Hi John,

Remove the glass tray and check the coupler and the condition of the paint on the bottom. Post the results.

Gene.

Thanks Gene,

I had noticed a few small (pin head) pits in the paint under the coupler. I coated the pits with a thin coat of Ceramic Epoxy (Torr Seal)..... The Arc is Gone. Thank you, John

You are welcome. I'm glad you were able to fix it.
