I have the above dishwasher and have diagnosed that the heater unit needs replacing.

Can anyone talk me through how to take the machine apart to effect the replacement? It seems that I am going to have to dismantle a lot of the machine and would like to know the right sequence to do that in.

Thanks,
Rob

Hey Rob,

Replacing the heater is a tall order as you have already noticed, but if you remove the dishwasher and lay it on it's back, start removing most every screw you can find holding the bottom housing to the tub. Then you should be able to get the housing off and you will be looking at everything you need to get to. It's not as hard as it looks, but way more difficult then it needs to be. When replacing the heater, make sure you have some new hose clamps as the ones that come with the Bosch are one use compression clamps. Hate to have you run to the store with the unit in pieces.
