Cat,
Could you please verify and re post the model number from the production serial tag on the dryer. We could not find a parts or service diagram using the model number you supplied.

Thanks,
:) :) :)

Cat,
Thanks for the model number, it was a lot of help.
First thing, Remove the 1x1 inch square plastic cover on the front panel.
Start the dryer on a heat cycle. Look into the opening under the cover. You should see the ignitor start to glow red, The ignitor will cycle off and start to fade and the gas should be released and ignite anf there should be a flame.

If the procedure is good, and works, let the dryer run an additional 15 to 20 minutes and recheck the ignition procedure. Then let us know what you find.

:) :) :)

Cat,
You're sure you had a heated dry and temperature selected ?
What yiou need to do now, Unplug the power cord or turn power off tto the dryer. Remove the lint filter, remove the two phillips head screws holding the filter housing to the top of the dryer. with a flat blade tool(putty knife) find and press in on the hidden spring clips located approximately three inches in from the side . While pessing in on the clip, lift up on the corner of the top on each side. Raise the top up and prop it against the wall or use a rod to prop it up enough to reach inside. Ther will be two(one on each side)1/4 inch hex head screw approximately 4 inches down on the inner frame, remove the two screws and carefully pull out on the top of the front panel, until you can reach and remove the wires from the door switch, then lift up and out to remove the front panel. You can now see the burner assembly mounted to the base of the dryer. Check the igniter end for breakage, or a white spot or crack will indicate where it has failed. Also check for any loose or damaged wires or connectors to the components in the burner assembly.

Good Luck,
:) :) :)

Hi well we took the whole switch off it was just two screws lifted the front up and off and looked at the burner and none of the wires were loose or damaged from what we could tell. So we cleaned it out and put it back together and tried it again but no heat or glow.
