In which positions are both knobs for the temperature control?

Try to set the left knob on "A" while the right knob set on "4". Wait about 24 hours to see the result.

It's better to control the real temperature by using a mercury refrigerator thermometers. You can order one from APP.

- The refrigerator thermometer Part number: AP3549145

will do, but I doubt it will work. we tried different options with that. If this does not solve the problem could it be the thermostat (the one you replace deep inside the fridge towards the bottom?) Also we noticed that the fridge sometimes goes on and after a second goes off. Seems like once it's on it's runs for long time.

Try to adjust the settings first and measure the temperature in both compartments. Post the results.

The exact measured temperature in both compartments might help.
