I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I have a washer that squeaks very loud when the spin cycle is on. When I turn the machine off while the spin cycle is on, the machine sounds like a car slamming on it's brakes. What can I do to fix my machine? Thanks for your time. Heidi

The first thing I would check is the bearing on the pump. Lift up the washer from the front, remove the belt and check how the pulley on the pump is moving. - The part number for the pump AP3447809 Gene.

Gene,
Thanks for your help. I have family and friends that live in South O.C.. I will be sure to refer them to you!
