The speed control on my Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer does not lock in place. I slide the control and I have to slide it many times before it will stay in the speed I want, especially the #1 speed. Is this a spring problem or must I replace the entire lever. It will mix once I get the control to stay in place in #1 without slippiing out several times---it seems to not stop, hook in place. Thank you. Is there a shcmatic for this mixer with the speed control. I cannot find one--with speed control highlighted.
