I need help installing a new check valve. Is there a trick that may simplify getting it in place?

Perhaps I haven't recieved any input because I didn't explain my dilemma clearly enough? There is nothing to unscrew to access where the check valve sits, or if there is I haven't found it! The only way I can see to insert it is a VERY small space thru a small hole. Is there a special tool required on this model? :confused: The DW is 6 years old.
