Hi, my front left burner - (the one I use most often, and the biggest of them all) is not heating up. I lifted the top, and the black "housing" that the coils plug into has a chip on one of the metal prongs. But also, the orange wires with the metal thing at the end, the metal part on the end of the wires was bent a little, and a little chipped. I am guessing that the "housing part is bad" The end of the coil/burner prongs look OK, but a little black on one of them. Could you tell me if I should look into the replacing the black plastic housing unit, or should I look at replacing the wire part? Please let me know, I am a mom who needs to cook! Trying to DIY to save a dime. Thanks!

Looks like the burner receptacle has to be replaced. It comes with the installation instructions. I would recommend to replace the heating element too to make the repair more reliable.

- The part number for the burner receptacle is AP3030713

- The part number for the 8" heating element is AP3866514

Here are the break down diagrams for the Whirlpool range Model RF302BXGW0
