Hi ktstew

The infinite switch for the burner which does not go on lower temperature has to be replaced.

For the burner which does not get hot you have to check continuity across the coil terminals, condition of the receptacle block (burned terminals inside), the wires to the receptacle block and the power to the terminals on the receptacle block.

The power has to be checked between each terminal and the ground (120V) and between both terminals (240V). If there is anything wrong with the power, replace the infinite switch for this burner.

If there are problems with the terminals or the wires in the receptacle block, then replace the receptacle block.

- The part number for the infinite switch for 8' burner AP2024072

- The part number for the receptacle block AP3203326

- The part number for the 6" heating coil AP3192973

- The part number for the 8" heating coil AP3186376

- Here are the break down diagrams for the GE range Model JBP24BB1WH

Good luck.
Gene.
