Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 9/19/2011(UTC) Posts: 2		My dryer has two problems. 1. The dryer runs but won't heat. 2. The timer does not work. It keeps running until I open the dryer door or unplug. Can some one please me what could be the problem or how to troubleshooting it?

You said the timer will not stop unless you unplug the unit so I am assuming that you removed power from the unit for about 5 minutes and the control board/timer did not reset (repair the problem). Also here is a service manul which should be close to your unit http://appliancedigest.c...ity-dryer-service-manual You have to join the site to download the manual but it is free and this is a very good site for manuals and other info for the appliance repair DIYer. More info on exactly what the timer is doing would be helpful.

I ran some diagnostic per manual instruction. The console displays error code 'E9E' which I couldn't find it in the manual. I couldn't tell if the timer is working. I set it to 30 minutes and after 30 minutes it no longer displays time. I need to verify that again.
