Trying to figure out how take the door apart to replace the hande, looking at the other repair answers to others with the similiar issue it says to use a butter knife to pry the outer shell off however this one is stainless steel and the tabs that hold it on (6 on top, 6 on bottom) are about an 1/8 long, does anyone have any suggestions?

Hello Thunderbolt. You will remove it the same way. You may want to use a flat blade putty knife instead of the butter knife for the stainless. Here is a link to a video to help you with the repair. Hope this helps. Microwave Door Disassembly - YouTube
