onthe second load the dryer stopped working with about 30 minutes left on the timer . the timer still works and there were no breaker triped

your model # would be helpful. also does your light come on, on your dryer, and does it re-start

Hi flippinstick

In order to provide the most accurate advise I need the complete model number of your dryer. You can find it on the door frame.
Did it make any noises when you tried to restart?
