I need to replace the wire that connects the release lever to the door opening lever. There are 10 screws on the inside of the door part # AP3606629 These screws are half round like a dome with a raised Y on top of the dome . I am in need of the special tool or driver to remove these screws from the inside of the door to access the release mechanism. I am aware of the need to maintain a good seal on the door and after replacing the approximately 6 inch piece of wire that connects the handle to the release lever will use care in doing the job. Thanking You in Advance....Bill

According to the picture you supplied, you will need to order the Y drive bit to remove the screws. Hope this helps. Part number: AP3854781

Jeff I appreciate your help very much but after calling to order the Y drive bit part #AP3854781 and being told that it sells for $143.78 plus shipping for a total of $151.03 you can understand my reluctance to go thru with the order. Looks like I may simply drill a small hole in the side of the door to attach a new wire to connect the handle to the release lever or simply replace the unit. So in closing thanks for you assistance.................. Bill
