Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 8/8/2011(UTC) Posts: 5		The microwave should not run. i open the door and the microwave fan starts running, I dont know if it is actually trying to heat or not, since it scared me. This is the microwave fan that runs whenever I am heating something up, not the vent-a-hood exhaust fan. It has not given me any problems until today. What do i need to look at?

Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 8/8/2011(UTC) Posts: 5		FOLLOW UP: When I open the door: The turntable does not turn, the light is on (as it should be), but the inside fan runs. I put a piece of foil in the microwave while the door was open and I got no sparks, so I assume that it is not emitting radiation. When I shut the door: The light goes off and the fan stops (as it should). When I cook something: everything works fine (I even put a piece of foil in and it sparks, as it should)

Strange, when I open the door while it works, then close it, and let it continue it heats again...
