HI,

I have an intermittent problem, when I open the door the fuse blows. I checked the 3 door switches they all looks OK, but this being intermittent I must have one bad.

Question : Which switch can cause the fuse to blow ?

Monitor Door Switch Test:
1. Disconnect power, open control panel, and discharge capacitor.
2. Remove one monitor switch lead to isolate switch. Check continuity of switch with door
open and door closed:

Door Closed – Infinite Ohms

Door Open – 0 Ohms

3. Reconnect switch wiring.
4. Check fuse (15 or 20 Amp) for continuity and proper size. If needed replace fuse. 15 Amp
use WB27X0007. 20 Amp use WB27X3910.
5. Test Circuit Operation:

WARNING! When (15 or 20 Amp) fuse is blown due to operation of the monitor
switch, the monitor switch must be replaced. Also replace relays and/or
interlock switches when continuity check shows contacts shorted.

Thanks abadfish66,

I checked the switches, they all work (with my ohmmeter).. it's intermittent. Just to be sure, is it the switch under the Lever - switch lower ? Or the other one that get actuated directly by the door latch. Would you have the color of the wire by any chance ?
