Goldstar MA-1164M
went completely dead-no power, light, display, nothing. Would this be repairable? Besides the fact that it's old.
We just cannot afford to replace a microwave right now.

you can try the fuse pretty cheaply. open cover right inside near power line.

most likely magnetron failed (and not worth fixing)but try new fuse not much to loose.microwaves pretty cheap now.
