Here is the tech sheet https://www.servicematters.com/d...0Sheet%20-%208205609.pdf You say it makes noise but can you hear the magnetron turning on/off at a 50% heat setting? Usually is a slight buzz (not loud) or the unit sounds like it is bearing down. If yes then your magnetron is probably shot. Could be one of the thermostats/cutoffs is open. Remove the wire from one side of each of them and check them for continuity with a meter. Looked up your unit on the Whirlpool website, says it only has one year warranty.
