Hello,
I am getting an F7 and F3H error codes. However, I think the F3H code is incorrect because I think the thing is confused. The digital display is scrambling the words when in use like double text and flashing and beeping. The local service won't help much other than telling me the F7 doesn't neccessarily mean replacing the Inverter board. I think it must be the inverter board due to the scrambling of the words and text in the readout. I think we had a storm with power outage around the time this started happening. I unplugged for a couple minutes to reset and that did not help. Would magnetron scramble text in readout? I don't think so. If I knew what to replace I could do it myself and save a lot of money.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Mo, I have to agree with the previous servicer. At this point I would have to think, you have a bad Power and Display board. The inverter boards, control peripheral components and communicate the results to the Power PCB. Since you mentioned the power outage, that could have caused the power board to fail and give an irratic display. Here are the indications for the Fail codes you supplied,and the indications. Be careful if you decide to take this on, you'll be dealing with hi voltage components, capacitors, and transformers, make sure the product power cord is unplugged and the capacitor is discharged, so you don't hurt yourself. F3H Humidity sensor out of range. 1.
Unplug microwave oven or disconnect power.
2.
Connect a new sensor to the board (at P3).
3.
Plug in microwave oven or reconnect power.
4.
Unplug microwave oven or disconnect power. Replace power supply board. 5. Plug in microwave oven or reconnect power. F7 Power to magnetron interrupted 1. Unplug microwave oven or disconnect power.
2.
After 40 seconds, check to see whether this solves the problem. (Possible
reason: Over temperature protection for the magnetron opened.) 3.
Check resistance of the magnetron thermostat. It should be close to 0 ohms.
4.
Check the magnetron. ( less than 1 ohm resistance across the terminals, open circuit from each terminal to the magnetron case ). 5. Check wiring to the 1100W inverter and control system.
6.
Check operation of all interlock switches.
7.
If switches operate correctly:
Replace 1100W inverter. If problem persists, replace power supply board. Here's the part number for the Power PCB, in case

Thanks for your quick response. I did leave out one detail. When using microwave it makes a quick electrical frying type sound in my opinion. Kind of like "zzzzz" within first 3 seconds. But only at beginning of use and every time. Does this change anything from your earlier post?

Another question. If I received the F7 and the F3H error code, is it possible that replacing the Sensor (F3H) would take care of the F7 code or is that a separate issue?
Also, I confirmed the sensor was bad after checking the sensor pins with an ohm meter and the readings indicated infinite values.

Mo, There's a remote possibility, replacing the sensor would solve your fail codes, Don't count on it though. I'm leaning more towards the power control board, based on your post description. :cool: :cool: :cool:
