I have a brand new above the stove GE microwave. When we boil anything on the stove below it, steam fills inside the microwave door. Is this normal? I have never had this happen with any other microwave.

What is the complete model number of the microwave?
Does that steam evaporate later?

Gene. I believe the model is JVM3670SK. It's a stainless steel Profile model. The steam inside does evaporate later. Some of it evaporates when the microwave vent is running. We had the warranty people out and they just said to run the fan everytime we boil anything. Seems a little odd. They checked for radiation leaks and all was OK.

Yes, it is sounds odd, but they would not do anything. Especially because it is mentioned in the Owners Manual (page 40). Gene.
