I'm not too mechanically inclined but I wondered if there could be a simple fix to rid of the gap inside the drum. It seems that there is a bad seal or a misalignment. Clothes have been getting stuck. What can I do about this and how much time and money might it cost?

had it been squealing for awhile then quit? at any rate I would replace the rear bearing and front drum felt bearing if you hire someone it would run about 250.00 Do it your self and it's not an easy fix you could save half that

I just read from another post something about a front felt kit. Is that what you were referring to? Is that just something that will fill the gap? How much do these kits cost and will I have to remove the drum to apply this?
