I replaced the timer a month ago and the dryer will not shut off. Is the timer bad?

Does the timed cycle work and time out? If not, your little timer motor is blown out=new timer time.

Do i need to order a new timer again? I replaced the old one a couple of months ago, but it still won't cycle off. The dial just sits there and the dryer will run till I turn it off.

Measure the resistance of your timer motor, it should be around 1,000 ohms, if open, you will need to replace it or the whole timer.
