Oven does not heat and inner glass on door shattered. Repair service wants 6oo+ dollars to fix both. They diagnosed oven as needing an ignitor. I am moderately handy and would like to try to fix myself. I have very little to loose as I will buy a less expensive new range (Amana has a stainless steel convection for around $600 on sale) before I invest $600 in this one. My questions are: How hard/tricky/ dangerous is ignitor replacement? Inner door glass replacement? If we never use the broiler, do I have to change both ignitors? Is there anything else I should do if I am in there? Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Both jobs are fairly simple. Make sure to turn off power to the oven first! Read these: - Replacing oven ignitor - Replacing inner door glassBroil and bake igniters are not dependent on each other, so no, you don't need to replace the broil igniter. Also, your model calls for a $63 igniter, but you can use the less expensive one. Both igniters are interchangeable. You can find your inner door glass on this diagram. Hope this helps. P.S. $600 to replace an igniter and a door glass??? That glass is $25, plus $50 for the igniter, comes up to $525 for labor? That's a heck of a mark up. A fair estimate would have been a half if not a third of that.
