My dad's 1959 Tappan wall oven does not heat. I believe it is Model EOV (or N?) 230L-3. He has had this trouble before, and the serviceman said the connection of the housewire to the oven had burnt through. Dad suspects this has happened again, and wants me to fix it for him. How do I do this? What parts do I need?

The model number you posted doens't pull up. I tried several different ways and could not find anything.
You may want to pull it out off the wall and check the connection to the household wiring.
