The clothes are still wet after the final spin cycle which does not seem to be spinning as fast as it usually does. I did notice that the door does not lock during any of the wash cycle which I am surprised I can even use the washing machine at all since it normally locks throughout the entire cycle. I spoke to a few repair techs and they said it could be the control board or possibly the wax motor and/or door lock spin enable switch. Any ideas on where I should start?

Well most times we get questions of this Forum that are pretty easy to answer, this is not one of them.

This is somewhat of a mystery. I would start by changing the door lock assembly. The control unit thinks the door is locked, else it would not operate so the problem is more likely with the door lock then the control unit.

As for the spin/wet clothes issue, hopefully this is just something obstructing the drain line. Check that out and see if that helps things.

See if this link will get you to the service manual for your model. And if you have gotten more than 10 years use from this very troubled model, congrats are in order
