I used the self-cleaning feature on our Whirlpool drop-in oven a few days ago and it worked great. Now the oven won't heat at all. I tried the broil mode, the regular oven mode and the self-cleaning oven mode again. The fan goes on like it is working, but there is no heat. One of the light bulbs in the oven must be burned out, but the other one goes on. The stove top works fine. I turned the power off for a while and nothing changed. Any ideas?

Hi,

Check the Thermister. This is a round part with two wires going to it.
You will have to get to the back of the oven and remove the back plate to check it. There are two screws that hold it in place.

How can I tell if the Thermister is bad?
