While trying to clean door dispenser the cover module fell from my hands and the wire harness was disconnected from the control board (AP3965574). I tried to connect the wire harness back but then the ice crusher starts to run until I remove the harness from the control board female clip. The wire harness comes from the power board AP2151632 and it looks exactly like part# AP3965169. I can’t find information anywhere if the harness is the culprit and one or both boards. Your power board AP2151632 has a different wire harness and male end than the AP3965169 harness. Any help is much appreciated
Thanks,
Frank

Another source wrote to:
"Probably a shorted dispenser control board but the only way to know for sure is to do some electrical testing with a volt/ohm meter and the wiring diagram located within the appliance. If possible use the meter and the wiring diagram to check input/output voltages looking for discrepancies between the diagram and the actual meter readings."

But I could not find such information with the diagrams from the internet because I don't have the old (2003) documents around. So I order both boards (control and power) $70.00 cost. "Live and Learn"

You said you ordered both power and control board - did you already replace them and it worked? I replaced the power board only and it did not fix it. now i am not sure whether to just order the control board or both control and power. could a bad control board damage the new power board?

I have not received the boards yet. I ordered both for the fact that of the connecting wire (not been the same type) and the chance the power board was damaged too. I’ll let you know if the whole gets resolved and I guess since no expert is going to help us.
