Very happy to find you guys!
Had some sparking and replaced bad RR burner terminal block. Range OK now - but no oven or broiler. Range, clock, lights and touchpad seem OK. No error code on powerup, just time flashing. Voltage tested to oven element (but not sure how much).
What to troubleshoot next?

Here are your parts Replacement parts for KENMORE 79094212403 | AppliancePartsPros.comThe unit is actually a Frigidaire, here is the wiring diagram. http://manuals.frigidaire.com/prodinfo_pdf/Springfield/316417748.pdfTry removing power from the unit for 5 minutes or so to see if the control board will reset. If that does nothing and you cannot get any of the keys to have an effect then odds are that the sparking blew the control board, half way down the first page of parts listing. I am assuming that the unit does beep when a key is pressed which tell you that the keypad is working. You may want to order from AppliancePartsPros as they will let you return the board if it does not solve your problem. Please see their return policy. |
