washer makes clicking sound and now won't spin at all

washes fine ,water fills and drains. Started out with a clicking noise,then got louder. Now it won't spin at all. What part needs replaced? I NEED HELP.:confused:

Most likely your coupler broke. Part number 285753A Nat

Are you sure it agitates in the wash cycle? Because a broken coupler wont wash or spin it will only fill and drain no wash action or spin. If it's clicking the clutch is dragging causing an extra load on the motor and the motor will click on and off. But a bad wire connection will also make a motor click as well as something caught inbetween the inner and outer tubs like a rag or something. A bad motor will also cause a clicking sound it will be clicking and studdering not getting into a full spin but will wash normally
