does anyone have a diagram of how the belt goes in this model? i heard the flat side of the belt goes on the drum. but i cant seem to get mine like that. cause if i put the flat side to the drum then the flat side is on the motor pulley also. the motor pulley has ribs on it. :confused:

I just looked at ours and the soth side is up and the grooved side is against the drum

cool . thanks for the info. So on the section that shows all the different dryer belt diagrams the one for the maytag isnt correct. or atleast not on my model. Thanks again.
