Hello. Our ice dispenser occasionally locks up. We usually find that some water has gotten where it isn't intended to be and we'll get ice floes all down the back of the compartment. Anyway, this time, even after cleaning up the undesired ice, the motor still refused to turn, even manually. After pulling the housing out and checking the motor, it would neither turn with a wrench on the shaft, and I got a nice fat spark with no motor action when applying 115v directly to the leads. So I figured the motor was siezed and done for. While checking a few other things just to eliminate them from being a possible source, I found that the motor had freed itself up, maybe because it had been sitting on the bench for a half hour or so warming up, so I tried applying line voltage to the motor leads again, and it worked fine. Reinstalled everything, and so far, it's all working as advertised. Any thoughts on what's going on with this motor?

Thanks!
