My dryer quit heating and a few days later we tried it again and it tried to heat a little but not much to dry anything. But now it won't even do that much. I was researching on here and have narrowed it down to 3 possible parts: High Limit Thermostat, Operating Thermostat, or a Heating Element. I really don't think its the Heating Element due to the fact that it was heating intermittently. If it was the element I would believe that it would either work or not. I really could use some help on this cause my laundry is backing up quick! Thanks all post are welcome!!!

Choover, You're on the right track, Your heater and fuse/hi limit switch are located on the back of the unit,(you'll need to remove the back cover panel. And the regulating thermostat and motor fuse are located on the blower housing inside the cabinet, you'll need to remove the front panel and door to access those. You do have a multi meter, so you can check for open and closed circuits ? Part number: AP3873826
All the thermostats and fuses should check as a closed circuit(at room temperature). And your heater element, should have a resistance of 7.5 to 12.0 ohms resistance, and also check each element terminal to the element casing for open(no resistance)circuit, so we know you don't have a shorted element. (you need to disconnect at least one wire off of the terminal on the component being tested, so we don't get a false reading). :) :) :)
