Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 10/2/2008(UTC) Posts: 1		I've discovered a leak in our dishwasher. When I pulled the kick plate it appears that it is leaking around the sump pump. I'm guessing that I need to replace the sump pump gasket. Is that correct? If I'm on the right track, how do I go about replacing the gasket? Any help would be appreciated.

Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 9/24/2008(UTC) Posts: 66		Unless the unit has had limited operation and the gasket was allowed to dry out, you should be able to pull the motor pump assy , clean the sump seal and reinstall. The easiest way would be to pull the entire unit out and lay it on the side, you are looking for 3 white pull out tabs, thats all that holds the pump in. You will have to remove the drain pump in order to allow the motor/pump access.
