This dryer was running fine, I opened the door checked to see if things were dry, closed the door and it would not start. I have checked the door switch, thermostats and thermal fuse. All checked OK. With power to the dryer the timer sounded as if it were running. I tried to check the start switch but didn't know what terminals to ckeck. I got a reply on this site and a wiring diagram and was a little confused as the R1 and R2 and CT1 terminals didnt match the diagram on the switch housing. So I tested the two blue wire terminals(the ones I though were the R1 and R2 terminals) and got a 0 ohm reading. Should I get CT1 terminal and any other terminals, if so which ones ? What else could be causing my problems?

did you check the door swich with the dryer door closed? the arm on the switch may have broken not allowing the door to engage the switch.
