I have had this sears elite bottom freezer model for about 7 yrs. The frig section is not cooling, It is at about 65 degrees now. The freezer appears to be working ok. I checked the fan by the compressor, it is working. The water tubes behind crispers are not cold. My husband's milk is warm, I need help:(

Ok you said the fan on the outside is running, but is the fan on the inside of the freezer compartment running? If it is not running then that could be your problem. On some of these you will need to hold the door switch closed to hear the fan run. Also do you see any frost build up on the back of the freezer wall.

thank you for replying. I don't think I hear that other fan turning. There is alittle frost build up on the vents in the back of the freezer (inside) doesn't cover them . the freezer is still making ice. For months the frig used to be real noisy when it ran but has quieted down alot for the last few weeks. We kept the coils in front fairly clean, I went and bought a longer brush yesterday and pulled out alot of dust bunnies from along the sides and very back . Still maintaining that tropical 65 degrees inside.

Then that means you have a bad evaporator fan motor. That is the reason for a little ice build up. It is not moving the air around. Order this part and it should fix your problem. Part number: AP4009135
